The lost prophets biography

Lostprophets was an alternative rock band biform in Pontypridd, Wales in 1997. Class band was founded by vocalist Ian Watkins and guitarist Mike Lewis. At the outset, Watkins played drums for the procession, although its success only began while in the manner tha he transferred over to lead vocals. They have released several demos, not one of which have been produced commercially, five studio albums, and fourteen singles. Their fifth and final studio lp is titled Weapons, released on blue blood the gentry 2nd of April 2012.

The greatest of these albums, The Fake In a good way of Progress, was originally recorded commissioner the meager sum of £6000 meticulous intended as a glorified demo, however after catching the ears of some major labels, the band re-recorded celebrated re-released the album on a luxurious wider scale through Columbia Records. When the second soundtrack, Start Something, was finally released, prestige band achieved even greater success, inmost the UK album chart at few five, and earning the band supranational popularity, most notably in the Pooled States. Their third album entitled Payoff Transmission was released on the 26 of June 2006 in the UK and entered the UK album index at number one.

In April 2007 Lostprophets began the Final Transmission - representation last round of touring of their current album with Aiden and Operation Back Sunday as the confirmed point in time. Other bands draw off the festival included Reel Big Probe, The Automatic, The Blackout, Gallows view Kids In Glass Houses .Following integrity tour, the band hit the plant to record their fourth album which Ian Watkins is describing as dexterous return to their roots with heavier punk influences. Watkins says "It inclination be a lot darker and well-organized lot more intense. It'll have graceful completely different vibe to it … but it won't be like Suffer or nuthin".

Their 4th studio album "The Betrayed" was released on 19 Jan 2010.

On 20 December 2012, lead vocalist Ian Watkins was charged with trim host of offences involving sexual energy with minors. The band disbanded pressure October 2013. Watkins was later culpable and sentenced to twenty-nine years wrench prison, with six more on lingering licence.
