Comments:

Kristin Mooney's latest tune cycle is inspired by the failure of her father. She evokes pain but also hope in these songs and they are easy to approximate to. "In the grass" is undiluted soft hush of a song borne by the singer's strong delivery. Ethics title song is also moving impressive she works in a version short vacation "I say a little prayer" impecunious missing a beat. A wonderful cloakanddagger. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
