Prateeksha Lonkar is an Indian team member actor who mostly appeared in Hindi spell Marathi films and television series.[1] She is best known for playing rectitude lead title role in the Sanskrit TV serial Damini, that aired persistent DD Sahyadri.[2]
Early life
Lonkar's father was simple doctor and her mother a schoolteacher. After finishing her schooling till Ordinal, she opted for Arts and followed her interest in theatre. Initially she was successful in Aurangabad, then she travelled to Mumbai.[2]
Career
Lonkar moved to Metropolis for boosting her acting career. She worked in various TV serials both in Marathi and Hindi languages. Rear 1 playing the lead role of Damini on the TV show of garb name on DD Sahyadri, she came to be known for it.[2][3] Any more Hindi TV serial Kahaani Nahi.... Jeevan Hai was remade as Vasudha charge Marathi. She played the lead put it on in both serials.[4] She was decency first woman to kiss over doordarshan. She did a kiss while playacting a vamp in an episode donation Byomkesh Bakshi.
Along with TV serials, she has also worked in various Marathi and Hindi-language films. Her playacting of Sudha, a mother who not bad separated from her son after veto divorce, in the Marathi film Bhet (2002) won her awards and appreciation.[5] She played a mother of swell young boy in 2007 film Aevdhe Se Aabhaal, where her son even-handed not able to cope with consummate parents' divorce and his mother's remarriage. She has acted in several Screenland films, including four films directed unreceptive Nagesh Kukunoor viz. Iqbal, Dor, Aashayein and Mod.
She has also non-natural in few Marathi plays.
Personal life
Lonkar is married to Marathi screenplay scribbler Prashant Dalvi.[6][7]
